Bianchi Forum

Hello everyone, I have recently purchased a used Bianch bike and am interested in finding something of its history. The frame number is (as far as I can see) 53C7603, it has Bianch engaved on the top left of the bottom bracket and has "construito nel reparto corsa" (constructed in the racing department) on the left stay. It is reputed to be an ex Tour de France machine and was purchased in Italy some years ago. Can anyone give me an idea of its age etc? Many Thanks.

If it has the original seat post, pull it out of the seat tube. it might have the date engraved at the very end of the seat post. it might be faded, but take a look. The format may be something like 0399 and then some other numbers. My bike was made in March of 1999. However, mine is a production bike. Based on the serial number, is it possible your bike is from March of 1976?
