It's funny you should say that, there still seems to be a big stigma in the UK about pink components and jerseys - you've either got to mail order from Italy (where everybody's used to the maglia rosa) or look in the women's sections of bike shops! I really wanted one of the pink Chris King headsets that were the limited edition charity ones but I never found one.

Riding out here in Gooberville, USA I think I would also stay away from the pink bike.  I personally like the look but I'd fear being run over by a big 4 x 4 pickup on that thing.  The Celeste/Yellow combination is really very sharp and I guess will always be associated with the "Pantani Era".

    Re: Show Us Your Bianchi!

Hi Nice Bikes, Need some Bianchi Expertise, I am planning on buying a 04 San Lorenzo with full Record components 2nd hand . The Celeste/Black on the San Lorenzo is this for women/female, in the bottom it also says 100% Chick Design? What does this mean,? that its made for women? I was under the imptression that the San Lorenzo was for men and women. I own a Trek thats all Blue and Manly so having a hard time getting this bike because of the masculinity issue.

    Re: Show Us Your Bianchi!

The "100% chick design" is just (I think) because its Bianchi USA who develop different product lines for the US market. I think their chief product designer is a woman??

So most of the bianchi US bikes will have that sticker on them irrespective.

    Re: Show Us Your Bianchi!

Cheers mate! This bike has made me a happy man.

Funny you saying that about the bike being in the lounge, first thing my parents said was "why you got the bike inside for, get it out" to which i was discusted, my dog make more of a mess ie.. this morning when i woke up to the welcome of dog s**t scattered all over the kitchen floor.  Maybe its my dog that should live in the shed and instead have my Bianchi at the foot of my parents bed!

Hi, nice bikes - you must have a very understanding wife!  I am currently awaiting the delivery of my first Bianchi (a 928 Carbon Veloce).  Could you tell me where you got those tyres with the celeste side walls - me thinks I'd like some of those!

    Thanks

    Re: Show Us Your Bianchi!

Hi Tractorboy - welcome to the club! My celeste tyres are Continental GP3000 clinchers that I got a couple of years ago - I bought loads to keep me going. Not sure if they're still available but have a hunt around, I'm sure you'll find some.
